Nanhi Thali — simple food guides for Indian parents
When a baby turns 6 months, every parent has the same questions: What should I feed? How much? Is this safe? The internet gives a different answer on every page, and most advice is written for foreign kitchens — avocados, blueberries and ingredients that aren't in an Indian home.
Nanhi Thali ("little plate") was started to fix that. We make simple, practical ebooks that turn trusted public guidance into everyday Indian home food: ragi, dal, khichdi, curd, roti and seasonal fruit.
What we believe
- Home food first. Every recipe uses ingredients already in an Indian kitchen.
- No salt, no sugar for little ones. We follow WHO and IAP advice for babies under 1 and keep salt and sugar low for toddlers.
- Clear sources. Our guidance is based on public recommendations from WHO (2023), the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP), ICMR-NIN, NHS and CDC. Every book lists its sources.
- Your language. Every ebook is available in English and Hindi.
- Fair price. Good information shouldn't cost a fortune — books start at ₹149.
Important
Our books are for information and guidance only. They do not replace advice from your pediatrician or a qualified dietitian. If your child has allergies, isn't gaining weight, or has any health concern, please see your doctor.
